I think that's overstating it a bit. I agree with Hugh's comment. Also, there are more of them out there and, like many others, are often overlooked. An entire set of these wheels can be found on the 63 Alvis Crash Tender and the wheel is far more rare on the Alvis than the Jumbo Crane. The wheel had a fairly widespread use for such an "odd man out" sort of design. The following castings used them: M9, 6c, 11c & 63b.Idris wrote:I think that's overstating it a bit.
