Very simple style catalogue from
Showing a foden tanker in (as far as I'm aware ) unused BP livery and the transit recovery truck with a different rear section

...from 1967 and yes, the 'BP' Foden tanker was not issued, full production issues are in 'MOBIL' livery. There are examples with the 'SHELL' logo but these are seldom seen.

The early 1967 trade catalogue shows an early design for the Foden tanker without any logo as shown below.

then in the 1968 trade catalogue the version to make it into production is shown with Three hatches on the top of the tanker's body which is now totally different from the design shown in 1967.

there appears to be nothing of the '67 trade catalogue version carried on into production cab has no visor and the tank is completely changed
BTW my catalogue is the May 1967 issue

To me the 1967 model looks more like an AEC cab, similar to the one made by Dinky Toys and I suspect this to be a model from another manufacture, just for the sake of showing something in the catalogue, because Lone-Star were committed to introducing at least Two new models every Month!
