This one arrived yesterday as my first "older" model of 2016.
The 1981 issue Porsche 928 in blue, but with an amber window. This is not a common variation, as they nearly always come with clear windows.
It is absolutely spotlessly mint. Not a mark on it. The amber windows are quite a dark amber too, much in line with a number of the tan ones.
It even came with one of those cardboardy thingies (not that I care).

Great piece David, a number of late 70's models can be found with amber glass instead of clear and this Porsche is one of the harder ones with the blue body.

I quite like that cardboardy thingy, I think I might have some somewhere...
Lovely model by the way and its so nice to find minty examples, so keep that cardboardy thingy, it seems to be working!

How clever was Matchbox.
The car couldn't be with Porsche hubs fitted. So they drawn a Porsche with Matchbox hubs \o/

Good point Stephane, and at least the model drawn on the box is going to look pretty close to the actual model inside the box.
