this pic is a year or two later from the first pic above i think...you can see my mom and brother and sister here...im to the far right walking toward something...im stepping over the king size dodge twin tippers...to the left of my rear leg is the farm set gift set
nicks guide said the G3 farmset came out in 1968...i know i had that as i had the as its in the pic and i still have the cattle truck and the jeep...i know i has the stake truck and safari range rover...i guess i didnt play much with the tractor or hay trailer and combine...i did use a lot of my toys as intended i guess
up in the front lower right you can see the low loader and bulldozer in front of a tambourine and just behind that is a binz ambulance
close up of the low loader and bulldozer...the circle area is one of the models in the farm set
you can see the ambulance a bit better here...and if you look up to the right at my rear foot...you can see some other models..one looks like the #20 chevy taxi...i have a couple more pics but cant find them and in those you can see the taxi and the #7 ford refuse truck...gotta look around for those cause i thought i had them uploaded

Quite interesting Dan and im sure u would rate this as "the best times of your life"! What a great feeling delving into your childhood and reminisce the joys of childhood and an opportunity to endow your parents/the parenthood, love etc that was thrust upon u.Ure blessed cos not many kids could have boasted such an array of exciting toys during Christmas. That all came with love!
Thanks for showing.

Christmas 1967
My first Matchboxes. I can still remember the smell of the case!
I was lucky enough to be the only god child of a maiden aunt who spoiled me! Imagine: 80 brand new Matchboxes at one time!
I think the boxes were thrown out in the first week.
The cases lasted a few years longer.
I still have my original 3b Bedford Tipper, 17d Hoveringham and 65b Jaguar.
I apologize for the huge photos. (My first upload straight from the phone.) if anyone can resize them it would be much appreciated.
Best wishes for creating happy memories with your families!
Kurt
