That picture represents a lot of work and a very good way of keeping old beater models alive. If I saw these on a table at a toy fair, I would be happy to buy some of them for my collection, great rebuilds Gerrit and if I may, I would like to give you special thank's here for coming over to this forum from another forum and making this your home, you are very welcome and fast becoming a regular contributor.

Thanks Kevin for you ever so kind words, much appreciated.
I love doing this resto/repaint stuff, it gives me a lot of satisfaction.

True enough, I feel quite okay here at VBD. And I love the dry humor that is part of so many contributions.
My first diecast love was Matchbox, starting in 1958 and it will never go away, in spite of many others I collect.
Like I said before, I hope to be able to come over to the Lesney motherland for a swap meet in 2016, shake hands with you and who knows get to meet other fellow forum contributors/collectors.
