'Kelly' green Ford Anglia 7b
I came across this Anglia at a local auction near to the old Rochford factory, and can find no reference to it in any other colour than the light blue. It appears to be the same colour as the dark green Singer Thames van (59a).
The pictures aren't great as it's dark(!) but the rivet doesn't look tampered with at all, there is a tiny bit of the green 'within' the rivet as there usually is and it is painted green to the inside also.
Any thoughts?!

What does the rivet look like that holds the window insert in.

Looks fine to me. When I try to move the windows they move about a fraction (about half a mm), so windows are certainly not glued, and appear to be held by the rivet alone. I can try to take a picture if you want?

Unless the model is a colour trial and has had the base manually secured by hand to the body at the factory, I do not like the look of the base rivet, sorry.

Personally I'd go with the colour trial. I don't see why someone who go to the effort of 'faking it' so well just to put it with a job lot at an auction. Here it is prior to purchase:

...and Stacy has had a recent auction of Matchbox models that did include 'Pre-Pro', 'Prototype' and Colour trial models...so maybe that Anglia is one of them.

I'm not 100% happy with the way the window insert is sitting, but that could just be one of those things. Are the windows clear? What Nick Jones variation code would the model be if it were pale blue?
Re: 'Kelly' green Ford Anglia 7b
If it was from stacy's I think there was some code 3's at the same time as the prepro's
To me the rivet looks hammered over there is wearing on the base not consistent with the paint finish and the rear axle looks bent
But then what do I know

I took much care with many repaints I did for my model railroad (better done than this model) and I sold off all them for very little. I too think it's been completely apart (including windows out) and repainted. Could be my monitor, but it's not the same shade green as the Singer van.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."
