charity sellers

I was told by a charity seller that it was against their charity status on eBay to accept a BIN offer or to end an item early if it was originally listed in an auction format (my bin offer was refused using this reason, although I won it for £8 less than my offer
) stating that they could be fined
This same seller has now removed a minty looking firenza saying it's unsold (24 hrs after first listing ) even though it had several bids
Seems they had an offer worth getting a fine for

Unless there is a genuine reason for pulling an auction e.g. the item has been damaged or stolen after listing it, to end an auction for any other reason is hard to accept especially if you are the highest bidder. I would be complaining bitterly to ebay if that was the case.

I was watching those and emailed why it had ended, they told me it will be relisted. But I am not sure Reg , there description clearly states they will not end it early. But they did list it saying matchbox so maybe they will use that as an excuse for the error. J

The more people email early to ask for a buy it now the more chance the seller will think it's worth more. Bottom line is just bid on it early and don't ask. I hope this goes for top dollar as its a good charity and not far from me.
