Tyres / tires with text

I'm not sure which category this should be listed under since it covers RW as well as Major Pack and King Size tyres (or tires).
I've noticed the earlier grey 22x30 tires (tyres) used on the 72a Fordson Tractor do not have "Lesney England" cast into them whereas the later black 22x24 tires are cast with "Lesney England".
In general, most of the small tires used on 60's era regular wheels do not include cast text but most of the larger tires (including King Size and Major Packs include Lesney England. The early metal wheels often have the model number, "England" and/or Lesney" cast into the wheels. In the SuperFast era mold numbers were cast into the wheels.
Why were some tires cast with "Lesney England" and others without? Did it have to do with available space on the tire? The hubs for the early grey 72a Fordson tires were 1/2 mm larger than the hubs for the later black tires.
What was the smallest plastic tire with cast text?
