Bedford A2 with black text and GPW

Post by jmainau »

Hi everyone, I came across this one about 6 months ago on E*** USA, I cant seem to find any reference for such a model, with black text and GPW....or am I not looking hard enough?. Its was purchased with a quite a few nice early lesney models, from a non-collector, and for a very good price, as I happened to be online as they were being listed, and managed to scoop most of them up as "buy it nows" so I dont believe it has been faked for financial gain, any help would be greatly appreciated, happy to supply extra photos if anybody needs more info, regards, Jason. PS apologies for the large photo size, I dont know how to make it smaller.

The wheels went from metal to gray plastic right before the red decal came into use. It's less common than metal wheel variations.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."
