Very good and to be able and keen enough to turn worthless junk into collectible models is something to be proud of, thank's for showing them.

Looks much better now! She needs some wheels that are nicer (better condition) and the axles cleaned.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

Great job. I prefer to see worn-out models rescued instead of being tossed out. It would be helpful to me if posters identified the manufacturer of the model and the sources for any hybrid creations. The scale can also be useful to know. Since this board is Lesney-centric, I assume that this is a Matchbox.

It was/is a Matchbox regular wheel 1-75 series 32c Leyland tanker formerly in BP colors with the BP logo.

"Bernie" makes a very valid point, for those of us used to dealing with certain brands as part of our hobby, it is very easy to forget not everyone here is as familiar with the brands, especially the younger members.

I pretty much assume that if I don't know it, it's likely a Matchbox. Especially since this forum has a strong focus on those. My thing is 1:43 passenger cars and I have very little experience with 1:64. Still, it's nice to know what I'm looking at so that I can learn more about what's out there.
