Yesterday we had the bi-monthly NAMAC (Dutch Miniature Car Club) swapmeet at the city of Houten near Utrecht. Always a very big and busy venue.
This my crop, a lot of Matchbox for restoration/code 3 purposes.
The Guy Car transporter is near mint, although missing its ramp, also the SF 24 Rolls Royce is near spotless.
Also quite happy with the White Box Jaguar MK VII.

Nice little collection there Gerrit, the Corgi Juniors transporter looks to be in very good condition, I'd probably leave that alone as it is, these are not that common and maybe we can see the Rolls-Royce cars on their own, thank's.

Thank's Gerrit.
If it does not have any towing facility at the front it is likely to be one of the very early issues that for ease of terminology, I regard as dark Pink against the light Pink of the very first issues from March 1967.

After a couple of casting tweaks, it was painted in a colour I regard as Cherry Red, staying in this colour up to it's conversion to 'Superfast' wheels.

Showing certain colours is not easy on electronic screens, especially shades of colours.

I see it has a special steering wheel for drivers with very small hands...!

Thanks Kevin,
It does not have the "towing facility", and it is the palest I have ever seen.

And regarding that steering wheel, I did not notice that before you did.
Looking at it closely I feel that it must be a factory blooper.
The spokes of the steering wheel are perfect, it is only missing the ring.

I will make further pics of details tomorrow.

I think the model on the left is the light pink from the very first issue referred to by Ghosthunter. Though it's strange there are silver painted on the rear bumper. I think other examples don't carry that silver paint?
The model in the middle is the dark pink similar to Ecclesley's. Note the pink element on the rear boot.
Both models are without tow guides.
The model on the right for comparison is the cherry red, with tow guides and bumper extension.

Thank's Ritchie, an excellent comparison picture.

No, no other full production model should have the Silver painted rear bumper and it is probably the result of a previous owner adding it by hand, this is such a well detailed model it is obvious the rear bumper looks odd in the same colour as the main body.

I painted my very first example in a dark colour like Brown or Black, but I can not remember if I painted the finer details like the bumper. I still have it but have not seen it for many, many Years, I have moved home several times since the last time I saw it!

I spotted the below on ebay recently. I was thinking of getting it for comparing the color of my light pink example. But after looking at the details, too much of a banger, the damaged windows possible from sun heat? and the color possible from sun fade? I refrained myself from bidding..

I would say it has suffered from some serious Sun fade on the body and the glazing has clearly given way to some heat. Gerrit ("Ecclesley"), would have it for one of his lovely repaints and I bet he has a spare window moulding just lying around doing nothing... :D

The one I bought at the Namac swap meet last Saturday on the left (light pink i.m.o.).
Dark pink in the middle and the cherry red on the right.
