Did you paint those cars too? I like that green car, you made very choices on coloration there. Is it a Rolls/Bentley also? Who makes it?

Only one of the cars carried has been painted by myself, that is the two tone blue Bentley MKVI on the top. All the others are ex factory.
They are made by Oxford Diecast, 1/76 scale. The two tone green one is a Bentley MKVI as well. The dark blue and silver cars are both Bentley S1 Continental. These Oxfords 1/76 and also their 1/43 scale models are really top notch, at very affordable prices.

I've heard good things about Oxford. Unfortunately for me, they were not in business when I did most of my acquiring from modern companies. But I have the only Bentleys I care about, the LeMans winners and some Continentals from Minichamps. I have a few newer Bentleys from Minichamps as well but will be getting rid of them at some point. Bentley and Rolls Royce were late in signing licenses when diecast was booming in the 1990s and I missed out on collecting most of them. On the other hand, I have far more German cars than I could need.

As far as I know Rolls Royce/Bentley were never stingy when it came to granting licenses for toy cars. Their motto: we don't want the kids to play with inferior car makes................

They definitely were in the late 20th century. At one point Rolls Royce was the only brand that 1:43 manufacturers did not have a license for. Part of it may have been due to the confusion over who owned what when the company broke up. Bentleys became available around 2003/2004, partly because collectors insisted on versions of the LeMans winners and that opened up the gates for more. Rolls Royce took probably five more years to officially come on the market. Their hand was forced when the Chinese went ahead and made them anyway and cashed in on eBay. Even now Rolls Royce are scarce in the mass market. Minichamps only has the Silver Cloud II. TSM makes the Silver Cloud III and Corniche. There's at least one high end manufacturer that has a wider range but the RR handlers seem to feel that commoners aren't worthy. If it weren't for Dinky, Corgi & Rextoys I'd have none.
