I'm working out of Vietnam and got way too much time on my hands. I only have my Blue Dunlop Commer van with me as the rest of my modest collection remains in Melbourne.
Consequently I have collated a "virtual collection". Nearly every 1-75 has been sequentially collected - by photo - filed and stored.
I can put my models together anyway I like, mixing series 1 and 2.
Never forgetting they are toys to begin with I put together this "farm set."
There are some obvious models; the cattle truck and two horse transporters. The combine harvester and naturally the tractor trailer combos. Not sure if the Landrover is military or not but we'll call it ex- MOD and place it on the farm. Couldn't imagine a British farm without a horse trailer and the bigger Landrover.
I've since done another version of this that includes the 50 Commer beige pick up - or from Australia we would say "ute" for utility.
BTW did you know the world's first ute was designed in Geelong at the Ford factory, outside of Melbourne?
Not sure about the red Jeep - maybe they could experiment with an American ute. The dog carrier not outta place - maybe they run a few kennels on the side.
