Hello all,

I am an avid collector of LONE STAR TRAINS. I collect all three series...LOCOS...TREBLE-O-LECTRIC...TREBLE-O-TRAINS.

I used to treat each series individually as I am sure many collectors do. Recently, in addition to each series, I have been cataloging my 3 LONE STAR TRAINS series as a Comparison of all the Models as they relate to each series.

This creates a True List, for each model, of the Number of BODY STYLES, CHASSIS TYPES, TRUCK (BOGIE) TYPES and WHEEL STYLES.

I would be Happy to supply more information to anyone who is interested.

I also have many, many questions about details pertaining to LONE STAR TRAINS.

Thanks for looking,

lonestaralan

Hello Lonestar, welcome to the forum.

I don't think we have many members here who specifically collect the Train series as you seem to, so I would suggest you create a thread here...viewforum.php?f=16 and give us a run through of what there has been made and what you have in your collection with some pictures.

I would suggest you resize any pictures down to around 600 pixels to start with, just to see how they get presented on the forum and go from there.

Do please ask any questions you have about models, Lone-Star models or issues with posting onto the forum, enjoy your stay here, we look forward to some Lone Star Locomotive information.

GHOSTHUNTER.

Welcome to the Forum, Lonestar!
I'll confess to having a small collection of the early push-along trains and would be very interested to learn more from someone who has made a proper study of them. Please start a few threads as Ghosty has suggested.

Thanks to Ghosthunter and Idris for the welcomes.

I will try to post an introduction to Lone Star Trains over the next couple of days.

With Casting Variations & Color Variations the Number of Models gets to be very Large.

Regards,
