Difficult to say from the photographs, but the colour looks as though it may be too dark, the rivet is carrying a lot of paint, there might be reinforcement under the front valance and I can't see the casting defect on the front offside wing.
definitely one to inspect "in the hand" before buying!

I could not justify spending that amount of Money on a restored Moggy. He says it has been REPAINTED because the original (Tan!), colour was tired, who spends all that Money on restored (repainted) models, he should have left it as it was, he has some knowledge about how rare an original version is, so why balls this one up by repainting it thinking it is still worth a fortune...

My thoughts exactly Ghosty. It's sacrilege if it was originally tan (can't see enough of the casting to be sure) and as for £900

I suspect the artist is about to find out how much a repaint is worth. I can't imagine anyone coming close to his asking price. He would have done himself a favor by documenting the before and after so people could see that it's a restoration and not a recreation. Unless the model's paint was nearly gone, it is hard to imagine the restored model outselling what an original play worn example would have brought.

This guy has been selling repaints & customs for quite a while now.
