FERRIS TOYS - need help

Hello Gentlemen,
sorry for bothering you with my problem, but this is the first time something like
this happens to me,after twenty years of trades, sales and buying with British well
know CORGI and DINKY TOYS's dealers (all reliable professionals) without any problems.

Two month ago I purchased from the site FERRIS TOYS a Corgi Volkswagen 492 "Polizei"
boxed. After having paid via bank transfer I received a message from the dealer R.T.Walker
telling me that I will receive the CORGI model "early next week"...
After two months waiting and several mails sent to this Mr.Russell with various requests
(tracking number, shipping update, a receipt of this shipping, etc.) Left without any reply, he disappeared, and one week ago he erased from his site the post of the Corgi 492 "Polizei"sold to me.....

At this point, what can you advise to me to do?
May be someone of you has had the same bitter-sad experience?
Are there any security measures that could be aken in situation like this?
I know that I have lost my money, but any piece of advice or assistance or suggestion
would be higly appreciated.

Thanks in advance and best wishes to you all.

If you dont pay by creditcard then there is no protection for you if things go wrong - only pay by bank transfer to folks you trust

Now that's sound advice!

I assume you have already asked for a refund?

By the way, I was told today by pure case by a Dinky collector that he contacted the seller just a few days ago without any
problem. He asked a question about a die cast model, received the reply right away and everything seemed OK. Which obviously
means Ferris Toys (Mr.Russell) refuses to send me any reply or explanation regarding what happened with my purchase just on purpose....
What a shame! Also he deleted all the Corgi models for sale from his online store immediately after my last email to him.
How pathetic! I guess at the end of the next week I'm going to report him to the auctionfraud police website -
http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/report_fraud ....what do you think?

I dont know the law of your land but given that you have proof of payment and he is a registered business he would have had to retain a postage receipt for tax purposes.

if you have a small claims court [and you can be bothered out of principle], drag him along to answer and provide evidence he posted it.

if he's a long way from you which I assume he is, otherwise you would have picked up the item, then I dont know how the process would work via small claims court but i would make the call or online enquiry.

best of luck.
