Only five and half hours before sunrise and you can take some more daylight pics.

Thank you slicc64, what a fantastic haul, you seem to have everything there. Be nice to see a list of what is there, especially the 'WESTERN MODELS', as they no longer exist as a model car company and they made several Rolls-Royce and Bentley models in the past.

Slicc64, did the MB24 racing cars come with the haul? As we can only see the boxes in photo 1, I guess your keeping them all under wraps as they are the blue ones!!!

Hello Matchbox Kiwi and Motorman.
The 24's have been in my collection for a while and just happened to be sitting there in my outside office/toy room when I took the photo.
I could only fit 1 box of the new haul in my outside office/toy room which i opened to inspect so to get the pictures together for Ghosty last night i had to go to the shed, my outside office and the living room. Diecast all over the place at the moment and more to pick up this evening.
RE: the #24's, I picked up the first one [24 team matchbox]in about 2004 from a kiwi who retired on the gold coast and guess what???
It was the metallic blue. At that stage my wife and I were just there to inspect the house they were selling and I noticed an old 1960's tin robot under the stairs [which i still have].
That got us talking about toys which led to his matchbox, star wars, buck rogers, space 1999, Walt Disney black hole star trek stuff. I bought it all with no clue at that stage re the value of the matchbox as was more into space orientated toys.
He wanted $5 each for the 1-75's [ 198 of them] and $10 each for the yesteryear [150 of them]. It seemed logical to me at the time that the bigger models were worth more!! Some of the yesteryear were rarer but most turned out to be worth about half what I paid. Luckily the value of the 1 -75's collection well and truly covered any $$$ loss on the yesteryear plus 1 of the star wars 3" figures, VINYL coat jawa sold for $450 to a girl in Perth. I paid $1 each for all the 3" figures of which there were 125.
Amazing what I discovered re the values and the rarities I had stumbled across. There was also the metallic red road dragster and a few other notables.
To cut a long story short, I fell in love with them [the matchbox], was severely 'bitten by the bug' and have been collecting ever since.
So yes, there is 1 x metallic blue & 1 x metallic green [from about 12 months ago], TP #44 label rest are standard.
A list of all the white metal and resin kits will take forever so I will probably just photograph the box ends were the model description is written in groups of 9 or so and upload the pic's.
