Tinman goes racing

Post by Tinman »

Some restorations.

Making the bonnet decal is a pain in the behind but the roundels are easy.Image

BRM in hard-to-find Red with even harder to find number "3" decals.

With the hard-to-find Red with the common "5" and these roundels are labels.

The very Rare Ferrari with the driver

I went with a lighter metallic green and the hard-to-find number "5" roundel decals.

I just love this "Matchbox Originals" casting as it is so true to the Lesney original that one might even think the old tooling was used. It really comes alive when given some decent wheels (silver plastic in this case) and put into Lesney colors.

This Harley went to Orange County Choppers because it was missing its handle bars. My minature Chopper Shoppe not only gave it new handle bars but a fresh coat of paint.

It might be time to start my "Bucket List."
