Hi,

recently I made a code 3 Esso-Unimog like Timanns.
I first thought about getting new tires for this one because the original ones where very loose bud than I had an Idea.
I used superglue and added some layers of glue on the rim to enhance the diameter of the rim.
Now the tires are sitting thight again on the rim.
The glue is transparent which means you do not see the glue on the rims.

I just want to warn people not to try this on a nice original and fully assembled model. The fumes from the super glue can harm the paint and fog the windows.

and also enhance your fingerprints

If Superglue is so good, how comes it runs out of the tube so easily...

Superglue can be thought of as a two-part adhesive: the tube contains the glue and the hardener is water vapour from the air. Since the tube does not contain any water(vapour), the contents remain fluid until they are squeezed out.
