The NAMC’s “Catalog of all Series Matchbox Models” (second edition), AIM's “1-75 Series Regular Wheels” catalogue (second printing, 1983), Stannard and Houghton do not list any variations not already identified by Nick.
U.K. Matchbox covered the model in volume 1, no. 10 (Dec. '77), p150, and records what appears to be an overlooked casting change to the rear face of the body casting (also noted in Leake's "Concise Catalogue of 75 Series Matchbox Toys by Lesney" (4th edition, reprinted 2006)). The early body has a raised block (presumably representing the numberplate) low down and in the centre at the rear. On later bodies this raised section is the full width of the tail section and is extended vertically to about halfway up the baseplate tab holes. According to UKM, the straight roof brace occurs exclusively with the early casting. whilst the modified casting is associated with the short corner (and therefore also the long corner) braces. Having had another look at Nick’s catalogue page, I suspect this may be another (and, I would say, more obvious) aspect of the already-catalogued lower body ridge casting variation. Does anyone have a body ridge model with just the numberplate raised section at the rear?

It should be noted that Nick's variation table contains a significant error. The "body ridge" column has the entries for 'with ridge' and 'without ridge' the wrong way round!

I have checked all my 43c Pony Trailer and I have no one model with the ridge and just with the raised numberplate at the rear. I can mention only a small unlisted variations:
a) base plate without reinforcement ring for the rivet
b) base plate with a reinforcement ring for the rivet
I have the tan base plate with number 1, 2, 4 (no 3), the green base plate without any number, with 2 and 4. Has anybody the number 3?

I have the tan base plate with number 1, 2, 4 (no 3), the green base plate without any number, with 2 and 4. Has anybody the number 3?

I don't have the number 3 either, but I have the tan base without any number.
