ebay links changed

Post by Brad Pittiful »

i have specific links saved to search ebay...today i went to search and my links are different...now i get all manufactures of toys in my link...not just lesney matchbox regular wheels

anyone else notice ebay messing with stuff again...i usually adapt and move on...but not today...i fired off an email to them and am awaiting a response...man...all my searches will have to begin again and find filters so i dont see stuff i have no interest in collecting

Yes, some our friends over on 'Moyboyz' have experienced something similar.

Ebay announced it would be changing categories and sub categories. There were a couple of announcements and one of them had a link to more specific and detailed changes that would be implemented. I do not recall when the changes were to go into effect but the annoucements were far enough back that changes are probably now in effect. Anyone with an ebay account can access all messages from ebay and I've opted for notices of new messages.

i guess i should pay more attention to some of the messages i get from ebay...but i usually just delete them without reading them in my email...unless its a auction i won...the messages i get on the ebay page i just usually click them so i dont have a message unread staring at me...click it and move on...whoops!

that said...they have royally screwed up my seaching style that i have been using for ten years or so...im going to have to find out a way of filtering so i see mostly regular wheels...not everything else

I haven't noticed any change to my saved searches. Is this an issue only for USA ebay users at the moment. Are you getting this "UPGRADE" first??

Yep, on eBay.com, all my searches are kapout.

I have to do them all over again. Can't seem to find the category "Regular Wheels" so far.

Took me a few seconds to realize something was wrong... Too many redlines appearing all of a sudden !

My UK search are OK. So far.

i think ebay makes changes just for the heck of it....higher ups need to look like they are doing something and push off ideas to management who in turn tell the workers and then so they look like they are working they screw things up for the user

The pre-70 category seems to no longer be an option. I think they messed up more than just our searches.
