Did they have own lorrys, vans and trucks or was this done by fright companys or what ever?
I´m sure some off you will know an answer.

There are very few pictures of Lesney's own delivery trucks, but this Matchbox book is interesting as it shows (in simplistic art form), an Articulated truck and trailer leaving the works and would have been based on a photograph taken at the time for the research into the book.

...and this picture taken from a booklet produced for Lesney in 1967 to promote the company and it's famous model cars, shows a couple of container trailers and at least One Tractor unit for towing them (lower left-middle).

The photos confirm what JacK Odell says in 40 years book, Lesney used to pack their exports into standard sea containers. The Scammell Kings container truck maybe typical of what they used in 1971

In the hand drawn pic, the truck looks very much like a Leyland Beaver, Wwhilst I reckon the truck in the photo looks like an Ergomatic Cab

Here's what I found in an old NAMC Magazine (Vol. 4, Number 5, September - October 1973):

The Lesney truck shown in the photos is an AEC Mandator - which may explain why Lesney modelled various AEC and Leyland versions of trucks with the Ergo cab!
