Thanks Gerrit, this forum has never been so colourful... 
The all Silver Y-10 above is fantastic, this is how Matchbox should have done it, with the upright screen and a proper Silver finish. They tried a handful of Silver painted Y-15 models (the original Silver Ghost model from Lesney), but none of them looked right as far as the sales team were concerned, so a compromise colour was chosen...a pale metallic Green!!!
...and even when Y-10 (the model above), was introduced, it was still in a metallic Green, a Lime Green this time with dark oak wings, but 'Pre-Pro' models have been found in Bright Blue and Steel Blue, why could they not paint it more accurately?
