Corrupt Advert?

There seems to be some kind of problem with Ebay this morning. With most pages I call up, there is what appears to be a delayed redirection to a site upflvs.tsgwe.com which is accompanied by a request to install a file called Player setup. exe from xxxxxxx.trachfileto.com., where xxxxxxx is a random assortment of lowercase letters. I strongly suspect a corrupt advertisement is highjacking the page. My suspicions appear to be confirmed by Norton's assessment of the upflvs website. I do not have this issue with any other site and therefore do not think it is a problem with my PC. (N.B. I'm writing this at work where they - a large multinational - have very, very good IT security.)
Has anyone else got this issue?

I've had a pop-up on ebay this morning a few times which locks the page and says your browser flash plugin is damaged click here to update, I've never had this before, I think this may also be to do with ebay's adverts.

Not had this problem yet
But I keep having my settings reset to the standard default ones and the home page will only show their recommend sales and not the list of previous searches :x

Even more pop-ups are happening now and some ebay users are starting to complain online. I'm using Chrome and Google is fortunately not simply redirecting me, it is instead warning me with a red screen that the sites that these pop-ups want to redirect me to contain dangerous content.

A little update, this issue has been picked up on an ebay forum by the community manager (lol) and is being escalated.

That's good, Hopefully it will be rectified in a couple of weeks time.

Amazing how they fixed it so quickly, It normally takes them a week to fix anything if its costing you money, or instantly if its costing them.

The latest update from ebay is that it is probably malware targeting e-commerce sites via individual devices as opposed to something from the ebay site itself. Strange how it seems to have stopped after being reported though. My machine is clean so I'm not sure about that one

When it comes to responding to such matters, they obviously have a similar philosophy to that of the Inland Revenue and of the oil companies.
