This TR7 is pictured in Bill Manzke's "Corgi Juniors & Husky Models" on p. 111. Photo is from our MrGoodies so maybe we will get more info or pictures from him later.

The description in the variation listings reads:

10-C Triumph TR7 77mm 1977-10/1983
Standard versions $4-6
Plated base versions $5-8
Gold plated promotional $AUCTION

[...]
38. Gold plated body, white interior, clear windows, display platform (plinth) and special gold presentation box. (Qty: 250. Promotional model for British Leyland at product launch of real car.)

The $AUCTION means that such items are rarely seen and no general price guide can be given - not necessarily that the item is worth a few thousand dollars ...
With 250 produced in 1977 and those given to British Leyland staff or customers - not collectors -, not many will still be around today.
Do you also have the plinth and box or just the plastic base?

The model i have seems to differ from the example on Page 111 of Mr Manzkes book ,my example has 2 possibly 3 colour interior ,The steering wheel ,dash and transmission tunnel are black - The seats are light tan and possibly door cards same its difficult to see because car has black tinted windows but seats are possibly 2 colours of light tan the outer edges being a different shade to the inner seat area.

Interesting colour combination for the interior, all Black interiors can be found on the Medium Green body as shown below, but Black and Tan mixed is very unusual and suggests a special build for Triumph dealerships.

Would be nice to see some pictures of the example in question.

Yes, I would also like to see pictures. It should also be noted that the photo in the book doesn't match the description "white interior, clear windows" either. Looks like yellow interior with blue tinted windows to me.
