A couple of variation additions from this bunch.
Of these two blue Morris Minors the back one is the somewhat controversial example I have with metal wheels.

And then here is the Pickford's Van in blue with SPW.

Hi George, The roof is the typical type B roof with the large ejector ring as other blue models would have. The metal wheels are the same wheels you'd see on the earlier green and blue-green models, 8x18. They have the proper "46" cast into the wheels.
Here are some additional photos. Some have looked at the crimps and raised a red flag. And obviously one of the crimps is cut flat ended while the other is somewhat rounded. Hardy Ristau examined the model closely in hand and concluded that there is nothing that clearly identifies it as modified. I know some have questions about Hardy's judgement but I can think of no one I would trust more examining a model in hand.

I would proudly display that one in my cases, Greg. Where did you come by it, If I may ask?

I purchased it from a California-based collector/seller at one of the early Albuquerque Gatherings several years ago.
The seller was not a regular wheel collector and had purchased a collection somewhere that he was selling off. This 46A was in that mix. This was much earlier in my collecting days but even then we identified that this was an unlisted variation. In the end I didn't pay anything more than you would have paid for any other nice clean blue 46A. I don't remember what the purchase price was but no premium or penalty was assigned by either of us for the unique mix of features.

Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.
