Post by misterpop »

Well I'll go to our house and back..Just looked closely at this thinking it would have the Cobra name on the rocker boxes and guess what??. A first mention of Lledo a full ten years before they came out.......Did I miss something here?.Discuss.......

That could be it Reg...ANGUS, although I don't know who Angus could be, maybe another toolmaker. By the same token, it is odd that the LLEDO name should appear on the other model because Jack Odell took semi-retirement in 1973, maybe he just had time to do the 'Stingaroo' before leaving!

Thanks Johnboy, nice bit of searching, but if the ANGUS is for the Bull mascot, why did the Stingaroo not have SKIPPY on the rocker as there is a Kangaroo mascot on the rear!!
