49d Crane Truck

Post by Idris »

Did anyone esle notice this 49d Crane Truck with a silver jib? It's a bit late for me, but a quick search on the Internet implied that it might be a previously unknown variation (pre-production? colour trail?).

Ended up bringing 64 pounds, someone saw it. Looks a bit shiny on my phone though.

I have to agree with David, i would suggest extreme caution with regards this seller.

Just in case anyone adds two plus two and gets five, the following: the seller calls him/herself Matchboxtom and we have a member called Matchboxtom. However, ours uses the Ebay alias Matchbxtom and is based in Renton, Washington, USA whereas the suspect seller hails from Bolton in Lancashire.
I have an idea that the Ebay Matchboxtom was outed by Numi a while back. Can anyone provide a link?

Tom L. from Renton Washington is a long time stand up guy. It is a shame that someone would choose a name so similar.

Agreed Jim, our "Matchboxtom" from Washington, a member here and author of the pocket guide must not be confused with the British seller using a similar name on EBay. My dealings in the past with Tom L. back in MCCH days were all good and I acquired some very nice models from him - a gentleman and a scholar!

Cheers,
Gavin
