E-Type 32b - Bronze with green tinted windows

Post by Lincolndale »

I recently purchased a metallic bronze E-Type with green tint windows. Has anyone come across this model before? All I can find on the web is the metallic red with green tint.
Attached is a photo of the bronze model beside a met red one in my collection. Anyone have any idea what the bronze green tint model might be worth. It is in excellent condition with one small chip above the right wheel arch and some highline wear otherwise very nice. It came with an excellent D1 type box...thanks.

Hello and welcome to the forum. The bronze with green tint is quite a well known model in certain circles and is sought after especially in nice condition. They do come up on ebay now and again although the colours can be a bit deceptive in photos. It always helps if they are photographed next to a metallic red model. I've got a couple, but not as nice as yours :D Have a look at Nick's link below for some further information.

There's also a link here, showing some more examples:

Hi Lincondale, welcome to the forum, i would love to see some more comparison shots with the bronze and red #32 Can i suggest that you use a white background to emphasise the colour difference. :D

It would be nice to see some more shots, because there are a number of shades of colour from red through to bronze.

You need to work on that colour balance as the background colour looks like one of the puddles located outside Kwackers cave!!! :D

That said,......it does look as though you have a very nice example of a bronze #32 with green glazing!!!
