DDR Releases

Post by Idris »

There is currently an active thread on DDR tankers. However, there were other models which also carried company advertising, such as the 51c Tipper. Were these models also made available in Eastern Germany (and perhaps also other Iron Curtain countries) and, if so, were they also released without labels (but, I increasingly believe,in normal boxes)?

Here's another one that my friend still has in his own collection, it came from the same East German source - a No. 2c Muir Hill Dumper.
Instead of "Laing" decals it shows a single "S" on both sides - I can't tell which code it is, as I have just the two pictures at the moment.

Never noticed it - I must let my friend check if the other side looks the same....
