Fun how they chose our beloved Lesney Fiat to depict travel!
But fun also, this concept of a road trip to hit all 48 of the contiguous states. Something to think of for those retirement years I suppose. My parents took us on some great travel vacations when I was little. There are some of the states I know I've been in, some I know I have not been in and then a handful that I'm just not sure if I was there as a kid or not.
Still never been to Hawaii or Alaska. But even here in the mainland US, I've never been in Idaho and I'm just not sure about states like Kansas, Oklahoma, South Carolina, North Dakota and Delaware.
If my health and money hold up we'll take care of all those question marks some day!

Well Dan and Greg I do not think I will ever get to any of them states, Greg your health should hold out as for the money you will have to either pull more teeth or buy less models.

Dan,
Thanks for sharing and what a great route! While I have been to several of the sites, there are many that I haven't seen and many states to visit yet. Last year, we started on some "Passport tours" where we use the U.S. National Park Service's blue Passport book as a guide to visit the beautiful USA National Parks/Monuments/Sites. When you visit each place, they usually have a "passport stamp" that is onsite and dated, and inks into your Passport book to document that part of your trip. I wonder where such a "collector mentality" may have come from for me .......
It is quite fun and we've already discovered some real hidden "gems" as we've traveled. More to come............................. !
Thanks,
Bill
