Stopped a few places today just because we had to get out of the house. Temps were above zero and no major snow. These finds made me happy, not to sure what they did for my wife????

A very nice haul for a day out Bob. Hopefully your wife bought a couple of trinkets for herself and all is well.
Most of the Antique Shops in our area carry few Toys, but once in a while we can find a prize or two in a Bennington Vt. Antique mall from one particular vendor. Our Albany N.Y. Toy Show is next Saturday, so that will mean a Great day out with old friends and some other Toy nuts. kwakers

Dick,
I joined this site collecting Reg wheels and King Size, but now I find myself buying Superfast models???? I couldn't turn these down as they are in very near mint condition. The car carrier looks like it was just taken out of the box. The Dinky's are average, and the van is a repaint. I think I am going to blame the Superfast problem on Motorman .

Welcome on board Bob. You do not have a problem mate, far from it, just take a deep breath and dive right into the wonderful world of Superfast. It's a great place to be!!! :D

I like the Superfast models that are the carryovers from the reg wheels. I think when Matchbox got away from "real" vehicles,to keep up with Hotwheels, I lost interest. Hard to pass up any models that are in great condition after all these years either. I guess I fell off the cliff into the ''Superfast Zone". I hope Ghosty got a good laugh when he tried to warn you about my "problem"!

The only therapy available is to buy more Superfast Bob. There are plenty of Transitional models out there for you to collect. So go and get them. Just dont outbid me for any!!!

FYI. Although it looks mint, the Car Carrier is actually missing a piece. There should be a black plastic moulding behind the cab, thats meant to look like air hoses for the trailer brakes. (one end sits in the 'cage' and the other into the hole in the chassis). They can still be found on beaters though.

Motorman,
I will never be able to outbid you on any models,as long as you have your "informant" working with you. I won't mention his name, but it starts with"G" and rhymes with the word "toasty"!

Shockwavetrading,
Thanks for letting me know a piece was missing. I couldn't figure out why that hole was there. I will keep an eye out for a parts truck.
