Hi,

What do you think about the rear rivet?

It’s a bit rough, but nothing to be worried about, especially so since the apple green 43a is really only borderline htf. (The problem is that they all seem to have been shipped to the continent, especially The Netherlands, resulting in them being scarce in the UK and the US. English-speaking collectors therefore regard them as rare, even though there are plenty of them out there, something proven by how regularly they popup on Ebay.)

It look ok to me, if you pull out all of your common models from the same era you will probably see a wide selection of rivet conditions, I know I have plenty that are worse than that one. The colour looks ok.

I don't like it, I have saved the images and looked inside the body and for me, there is far too much Green paint on the inside of the body areas, too consistant. I also think the Silver trim painting is too tidy at the edges where the bumpers contact with the body, especially the rear bumper painting.

I would only but if it were no more than the £20 or so shown, if it creeps up, its a no-go for me. I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but with those observations above and the slightly tacky rear rivet, I know where my money is staying!!

My one shares these characteristics (a very consistent full and even coating of paint inside the casting and the trim is not disimilar).
