What are your concerns about it
It's from the Tesco multi pack which sold in the UK for 99p and is quite htf.
The silver #46 Mercedes also comes from a Tesco multi pack but seems to be much easier to find

George Marshal has one, He bought it about 20 years ago and I think he paid £3 for it.
The black hook would make me think it is genuine as I don't know of another model that used a black hook but maybe someone who knows more about superfasts can advise,
I'm pretty sure these have sold for circa £300 at vectis, again please step in if you know better, George what do you think?

Nick,

The hooks on the later SF wreckers (#74 Toe Joe and #61 Ford and Peterbilt) have a different hook design which would not fit the boom of the #71 wrecker - they're also shorter in length. The #49 Crane Truck has a similar hook, but pretty sure these only came in red.

Cheers,
Gavin

Hi what I have to say seems a bit late now as I have only just seen this post, and it has now ended. But looking at the pictures it seems all right to me, and the person who got it got a bargain at that price.

How long was the auction on for this model :?: :?:

Yes Nick I remember buying my model at a Mica Convention as you said for just 3 pound, mind you then a lot of good models were cheap then.

Don't know how long it was on for, I only noticed it when posted here (shouldn't be posting live auctions you naughty boys) had a $60 bid as I went to bed, was it a member that beat me?

Yes I had this in my watch page too but once I see that the live auction was posted here I never bothered as did dent really want to bid against fellow members. Thought we didn't post live auctions ?

superfast77 only has a few posts so maybe not aware of our unwritten rule
maybe we could advise new members about it
btw mine was the first bid about 2hrs before the end ,would have been nice to add one as they don't come up too often , maybe next time
