Kingsize.K12b Scammell Mobile Crane
The plastic interior facing the wrong direction when assembled.
Always thought crane drivers were a talented bunch and to be able to operate a rig facing the wrong way is further proof as shown by this model error.
Included are some comparison photos which happen to show the two colour plastic hydraulics
I am thinking this one will intrigue little kids sometime in the future.
Perhaps the designer was asked to do a left hand drive version and this was her solution

That is a great find, I like this model very much. I will have to check mine but I am sure I have the red hydraulics. J

Thanks johnboy, I've always liked your sense of humour...that's one of your best.
By the way thanks for the link to the Scammell vehicle pull video, thoroughly enjoyed watching that a few times.

Thanks Jason.
The hydraulics on both these models are still silky smooth. Mind you they have they have spent most of their time in boxes in a good environment.
I would have loved to have seen more models like this with metal hubs though. These red ones interestingly enough have the tyres still quite firm fitting.
