Recently got this interesting model from a Japanese source. The "VOLKSWAGEN COLLECTORS CLUB" in rectangle box on both sides are decals. Anyone seen this before or have any information about it? Thanks

Judging by the timeline differences with the wheels on the 2 cars (original 1969 thin and 1977 thin re-issue), I'd say that someone has been picking up minty VW's and knocking these out as nice customs.
