I dont have one of these Matthias but they are usually found with hollow 10.5 x 2 mm 5 slot wheels.

Whats the red blobs on the edge of the body work near the baseplate?

Looks like rust!
All of these green MGs we have seen have hollow wheels -while solid wheels come from older mould, there are a lot less of this smaller sized wheel made solid and given the fact that solid 10.5mm wheels dont usually turn up on variations we regard as the earliest of their model, it implies that the solid 10.5mm wheels that did get made were stockpiled with new hollow production used before the solid wheels were taken out of storage

I've had a couple brown 25A Cortinas that have had hollow wheels.

In my collection of #69c 'Drop-Top' Rolls-Royce models, the first wheel design fitted during late 1969, was the 'Solid' treaded type, followed by 'Solid' smooth, then 'Hollow' smooth, these are all Metallic Blue models.

The model was re-coloured Metallic Gold and the first type of wheel to be fitted are the 'Hollow' smooth type until 1971, when the wheels were directly replaced by wider versions and still of the 'Hollow' type.
