I noticed these differences.

Hi Mike, the hydrosleeves are the same but fitted in different ways iirc. Have a look from above.

These are die numbers, They make it easier to find out which dies need repairing / replacing.

Mike If the casting is defective or there is another problem with it, the number on the casting (1,2 etc) will match the number on the die that was used. So at the factory, the workers knew which die needed inspection. There were numerous dies and without a number it would be hard to find the defective die.

I see no difference in my models?

The earlier Hoveringham Foden looks to have the same body as this later AEC but when I decided to do my own code 3 Hoveringham AEC, I found that the earlier body doesn't fit. It isn't far out but it is completely different.
