Re: Casting #33
That is one very impressive line-up George. I'm afraid I've got nothing to add to the extensive variations you've shared.

Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

Thanks Mr Marshall for your explanation and beautiful pics.kerbside wrote:Hello numi, new collectors must really get confused about colours, looking at your one is seems more like the Light Blue one.
Here is a photo of my Sea Green 33a model, along side the Sea Green base of the 39a model as you can see they are very much alike.

Both my GPW & MW specimens are definitely Sea-Green and none other. My MW is a tad darker than the GPW specimen.
The problem lies with my camera that cannot catch the greens & blues perfectly and moreover my pics were taken under artificial light.
Thanks again,
numi

In Geroge's photo you can clearly see the raised boss on which allows the new number of 39 to be placed on the modified 33 base. An existing #33 tool was modified for the new number and the addition of a driver (not sure how they dealt with the text).
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."
