Not me Reg. Unusual spray pattern inside boot. Colour looks very matt?? That said those rivets look ok imho. I would have chanced a bid on this had i seen it!

Looking at the 'Overspray' inside the boot of that Lincoln is remenisent of the #69 'Drop-Top' Rolls-Royce I have just aquired and it would normally be caused by the castings going through the paint process, slower than usual because of a problem somewhere along the line, maybe a jammed model or a machine has stopped working and they have had to slow the line down to rectify the problem and if the production flow is moving slower, it will allow more paint to get inside those open areas until the line is sped-up to it's usual speed.

Looks genuine to me ,cant see anything wrong - if those rivits have been glued then they look incredibly tight on the base which makes me feel this is the real deal.Wheels should be solid 11.2 x2mm not the 10.5x2mm fitted to the vast majority of thin wheeled SF31c and they are! Seller is from London which means could easily come from ex factory workers family.

Congratulations! it just goes to show that its not always possible to judge the difference between 10.5 and 11.2mm wheels simply by seeing how they fill the wheel arches relatively ........ but these would be logical choice for an early development model rather than hollow tyres..........

Good point Reg and now that he has it, he is going to have to let one of his other models go, because he has limited shelf space and I know bright Yellow does not go with J's Eyes, so I expect the Yellow 'Pre-Pro' #69 'Drop-Top' Rolls-Royce will have to go...just can't think who would want it though!

Ghosty.
