Fake warning: ARAL 25c

Looks like another Fake from the queen of the Galaxie (i.e. "she who's name shall not be mentioned"). Axle ends don't look right, including the one holding on the cab. Note the very shiny axles with small rusty tips on the end. Base rivet doesn't look right either. The more you look at it, you see other tall-tale signs of tampering as well. A couple of the wheels show wear from the large side head of the axle end, but the small end is present ... or they are damaged from forcing over a filed down end.

Watch out, it will probably come back up for auction when she changes her user ID (which changes often).

It is still up for auction Joe, but your link to "Getsmart" didn't work for me. I found it the old fashioned eBay search way.

I have fixed the link. Any comments from others about the originality of this model?

I am not sure of this model I would not buy it, box is original but model is questionable. But this one looks very fake

Axle-ends far too bright and shiny, both rivets have been tampered with, especially the forward one, it looks like a section has broken away. I would only buy this at a toy fair for no more than a British Pound.

Ghosty.

I must agree the rivet to the rear looks too small as if its been filed down to be pushed through the base , also the hole to the front rivet seems to have been enlarged

I've just had a look and can not find any definite signs of faking on it. Let's not just pick because it's Christine as that is a form of Bullying. The box is defiantly original and in my opinion worth more than the model itself. I had plenty of deals with Christine and can honestly say that in all my dealing with her I never once had a problem and we had many dealings. If there is definite signs of tampering then let's show it as I'm all for outing the fakers but I will be no part in a witch hunt against her. Just my own honest opinion guys.
