Not sure if this is the best place to post this - moderator please move if inappropriate.
Does anyone know where I could source a replacement plastic insert for the G1 Service Station set like this.
I recently acquired the box but minus the insert.

Or does anyone have suggestions what could be used instead for the 3 models that would enable them to be displayed in the box.
Thanks

I don't believe anyone is making these as a reproduction part yet, But you could make a replacement from a block of polystyrene, It can easily be carved with a knife, Probably the best way would be to use a polystyrene ceiling tile, Carve out the openings for the cars in 3 or 4 pieces depending on how deep it needs to be and a plain square for the back and then glue them all together.

Good idea, Nick!
If you want a closer insert which is more or less the same as the original, then search a company who make vacuum or pressure air forming. The mould ( the negative form ) you can make home. It made of wood or plaster.
Cheers, Peter

Thanks Nick, I've been trying to source a large block of fine polystyrene on which to work.
