I had a fairly good day at the Ipswich toyfair this sunday just gone. The first find was the white superfast Mercedes in its box, Next came the yellow Mercedes. Then the BEA coach with SPW and the best part was I got all 3 for under £20.
Next came the funny looking armoured car, It does not have the makers name on it but the wheels are like Charbens or Condon, Perhaps someone can identify it for me, I paid £2 so it has to be a bargain.
Next came the Corgi Juniors Transit, again for just £2.
For the next 2 finds I had to dig deep as they were not cheap but they were both absolutely pristine. I am of course talking about the 3c Bedford tipper with 11x45 gpw in a C type box and the 4c Dodge Stake truck in lemon, the cost was £70 for the Bedford and £90 for the Dodge,
Then came the striped 57 wildlife truck with red windows for a mere £5.
Final pickup was most of a MG1 garage for £6 which the rest of might turn up in time.
As per usual I met up with Reg (Fixer) and we did the fair together, Reg was a bit upset that I got the wildlife truck as he never had that model so it will be swapped for Reg's repainted amber window wrecker.
Checking my purchases online I later found Hardy has an identical Bedford on ebay in the more common D box for £395 and vectis had sold two lemon Dodges in their boxes at £140 each. I have decided to pass on the Bedford and Dodge so if anyone wants them make me an offer. I'm not looking to make a fortune off of them.

Good haul, it sounds like toyfair sellers are marking stuff down because they are having trouble shifting stock......

Very nice finds Nick, the tipper is great for that price. That is an unusual armoured car, I always look at the Benbros ones and think they look a bit quirky but that one is different again. I suppose no markings rules out many of the usual suspects.

My favourite is the yellow Dodge absolutely mint and looks super in hand
By the way never noticed that the tipper was the Australian edition, again a superb model and box
