MB38 Ray Bygate Models code 3

An old friend has this model that he wants to sell, He asked me how much it is worth and would I like to buy it. I don't have a clue on the value and I don't collect them either. Does anyone have some idea of its value, It is no 82 of 100 that Ray had made for special customers, If anyone is interested I can forward your emaill address to him, Alternately it will be going to the Maidstone toyfair next weekend.

Well his shop is still going and is still called Bygate models but that's all I can tell you.

I am one who collects Code 3 models as well. THis is a nice model since it is reality and collector based. Prices on Code 3 models vary all over the board. I have paid $15 for similar models and others seem to be in the $5-$10 range. On the other hand, I have seen Color Comp models go for hundreds of dollars. It is only worth what you are willing to pay so I wish you the best in obtaining this model.

I also enjoy code 3 models of the MB 38 and the London Buses. Prices are just what you are willing to pay. I would expect $10 or $15 for a nice model like this.
