Red Mig no 64

Post by Butlercustom »

I came across this car while sorting through my collection. Caught my eye because of the color. I apologize in advance for the pics. I never have been able to downsize them.
I am not claiming authenticity or an opinion either way though I suspect a repaint. The interior is black but the dog and driver ae the cream color. The red finish is very nice. Where it is chipped on the bottom in the photo appears green but under a magnifying glass it is the base metal.

It looks to me like a fairly well executed repaint, When you view it from underneath the interior is white plastic and the condition of the wheels shows that it has had a lot of wear through play yet the paint is practically mint.

I would agree with Nick, a repaint!

The base has a green speck in the A. Maybe when stripping? Paint texture is not correct.
