The only problem I can see about rarities in these is the vast number of code 2 & 3 promotional models available

Hallo fixer

It's only me to code 1 variants, code 3 models have no value for me.

Cheers Mathias

I agree Reg i have only got one #17 "Laker Airways" Londoner in my collection and do not actively look to add to this one solitary model because of the sheer number of label variations out there including code 2 and 3's!! There are literaly too many and a lot of them are code 2 and 3

The black version would be the rarest according to Nigel -he saw a couple of trays of them on his factory tour in the late 1970s

I have the silver and gold plated giftware models which I consider almost impossible to find. Silver is loose in box whilst gold is mounted on a pin tray with both being boxed. I also have an all white prepro giftware mounted one as well.

I agree the played giftware issues are the most desirable standard issue models. I assume the black issues are prepros?

If I read Mathias question, he was asking which advertising label was rarest. I think the B Paper is up there. The IL Ford film Sellotape and Barclays Bank are also quite elusive. I imagine many of these were regional issues, so local geography plays a big role in how hard they are to find.

I would say that the top one is code 3 promotional in a colour scheme already in use
The second one code 2 along side other Royal family products
