Mebetoys. Italian diecast

Post by Fox »

Another Italian maker. That produced many nice things.

Here are some of its Silver Shadow coupé.

I'd really like to find the metalic red one. Yum !

Very nice indeed, the model has a different interior colour to the brochure and the box. What interior colours were used on the model?

Yes there were. The brown one fits very well to the green body. I only have brown and black interiors. I have to see if there were some other colors.

Yes, a good colour match. Looks like luxury leather :)

Lovely models,I have a few but still want the Fiat Dino and Rolls - not quite as good as Politoys of the same era but nearly!
I wonder how these compare to the corgi golden jacks issue -both should be 1/43 but look a bit different even tho they model the same car....

Clicking on the picture you will find two photos showing Corgi and Mebetoys side by side.
And they're a bit larger here (at the end of the page) http://www.corky.fr/?page_id=1959
