Sunday finds

After some months with no new discoveries, I added a few to my pile:

Local seller, found via an online ad. Prices were flea market - not expensive, not cheap. Buyer and seller were happy. Seller had numerous other cars, but I didn't need them, or they were a little rough for me. Many boxes, but some boxes had issues.

Here's what I chose, in detail:

I like this casting, so now I have another:

The box is rough, but the model isn't bad, save for the missing tow hook :( - but who can resist a Cresta?

I have a C box gold motor, now I have a D box silver motor to go with it:

I just like the casting, condition leaves nothing to be desired:

Nice model and box, but the treads disintegrated in my hand. Worthy of replacement - I have mw and gpw, now bpw:

Late run example with shiny gold ladder, I don't think I have one like this:

Another set of signs, couldn't resist it:

And a big rig:

Not a bad day.

I would say you had a brilliant day, You don't see the roadsigns with the original box very often.

What an excellent haul! It's great to find models outside of ebay, it reminds you that there's a real world out there sometimes :D

Thanks guys. Yes, was fun to find something locally rather than online. The seller had a couple dozen other models, but many were fairly chipped, and the boxes similar in condition to the 22b box. I didn't spot anything rare, but I don't know every little variety like some real experts.

It had me thinking though, "what if" - seller was a flea market guy and didn't care too much, all models were the same price no matter their condition, with the Major Pack not much more. Maybe it's a sign to run an ad online again - these things tend to happen in groups.
