George, by the comment made, I assume you have doubts about the model and/or no clear history?

I am pretty certain this Blue model has been discussed a few times between our two forums (Lefora and this one), and pictures of it or a similar one (both with a Silver painted rear bumper!), have been published in a MICA magazine. Some concern over the inner boot area regards the way and amount of spraying looks against the normal Red models suggests it is a repaint but not by Lesney. The baseplate also is of later production than if a genuine 'Pre-Pro' had been painted, I.E. it has all the towing guides. Even if it were a colour trial model to be introduced before the conversion to 'Superfast', why paint the rear bumper, Lesney would not have considered doing this on full production models, that idea died several years ago as being too time consuming.

I want to be sure it is a genuine Lesney produced model before I add it to my own personal listings for the #24c, so until that happens, I have to regard it as just a repaint done by a previous owner before George got it and based on the box art as a model that would look nice in the collection if only Lesney had painted it Blue to start with!
