Hi All,
Well these aren't small scale, but they are Diecast Vintage and British, so I thought I'd start a thread for these most wonderful models, I borrowed a Foden flat for a few weeks in the early '70's, and have loved them ever since, still haven't got one, but have the tipper and trailer, and so I really need a good flat lorry.

(Trailer box is a repro BTW)
I would love to see some more Shackleton's.........

They are brilliant models (although prone to fatigue, so buy with care!).
I have two flatbeds (one complete, one less so) and a trailer (which has temporarily been mislaid).

They are mate, I still haven't found a complete flat lorry at a price I won't wake up screaming about.
I've had the tipper about 12 years now, so I'm going to have to get a flattie brother for it soon,
CW.

I have tried on many occasions to buy but often beyond my budget.

Just watched an old Harry Palmer cold war thriller tonight and all the trucks that sunk in the ice looked like Fodens.

Superb model, I do love these Shackleton,s. Thanks for showing the tipper, just so expensive to collect and take up a lot of room.

On "Flog it" last night they featured two of these, A tipper and a flat bed + trailer. No boxes and Good to very good condition. Realised price for the pair was £460. not sure how old the program was. The "experts" estimate was £200-£250 the pair. I said to the misses "they should go for double that".
